Office of the Ombudsman The Ombudsman’s office addresses amongst others, complaints of miscommunication against health practitioners and determines its nature and validity in terms of the Health Professions Act No. 56 of 1974 . It renders a service of mediation and endeavors, where possible, to resolve matters amicably.
